Can I choose what clinic I work at?
No. MedWise will assign you to the clinic that has an opening for your position and best meets your abilities and experience. Every effort will be made to assign you to a location that is reasonably close to where you live.
Will I have to work weekends and holidays?
Yes. MedWise clinics remain open on weekends and holidays. Employees are expected to work some weekends and holidays.
If your normally scheduled shift falls on a holiday, you will earn time and half for holidays worked.
How often do I get paid?
MedWise employees are paid weekly.
How long does it take to get promoted?
It depends entirely on your performance and job openings.
What do I have to do to get promoted?
A number of factors are evaluated. Key factors in employee performance are customer service, accountability, servant leadership, adaptability, punctuality, teamwork, initiative, and compassion.
Will I get a meal break?
Yes. All employees are entitled to breaks during their shifts.
What is your dress code?
MedWise provides the first set of scrubs to all clinic employees. Additional sets are available at cost. We're also picky about the appearance of the employees who wait on our customers: no visible tattoos, no unnatural hair colors, no body piercings, or tongue posts while on shift.
Will I have to work a lot of overtime?
No. Every effort will be made to meet all desired schedules. Scheduled overtime is not a typical occurrence. However, any hours worked over 40 during a week are paid at time-and-a-half.
