Primary Purpose of Job:

  • Maintain all commercial kitchen, beverage and fuel dispensing equipment and facilities in good working order. 
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with the store team members and the customers.
  • Work efficiently using good routing and time management skills to quickly prioritize repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment according to established safety procedures. 
  • Maintain the proper mechanical ability needed to safely address work orders based on technician trade assignment.

 

Functions of this Position:

  • Maintain all commercial kitchen, beverage and fuel dispensing equipment and facilities in good working order. 
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose issues, and make repairs to equipment in the stores according to technician classification.
  • Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.
  • All General Craftsmen will be assigned the FS Technician Trade.  In addition, some General Craftsmen will have the expertise to have multiple trades based on specific set of skills and training.

 

The requirements for this position include:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 2 years of general maintenance, commercial kitchen, beverage, and fuel systems. 
  • Mechanical aptitude including a basic knowledge of electronic equipment, electrical schematics, carpentry/tile repair, plumbing and painting.
  • Ability to install, repair and maintain basic equipment.
  • Ability to maintain grounds and facilities associated with any QuikTrip location.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving history.

 

Schedule:

  • The hours for this position may vary according to projects and deadlines and may include weekends, holidays, and overnights.
  • 45 hours per week.
  • 2 days off consecutively.

 

Salary:

  • From $24.29- $27.72 per hour (depending on related experience and qualifications) differential paid for evening, overnight and weekend shifts ranging from $2-$4 extra per hour.
